What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the master calls a butterfly. ~Richard Bach~
People of Bali Personal favorite amongst the 5 photos. Edit feels just about there and the photo has a certain mystery to it. Where is he going? What is he holding? Anyway, this is the last "people of bali" shot, back to more landscape stuff. People and portrait photography is tough
People of bali This was a tough edit. Colour of the shirt and the crops were the same. Anyway, life without school can be boring tbh. Probably need something meaningful to do soon. For these farmers, different tasks awaits them everyday. And in tropical climates like Bali, different season brings different challenges. However, it is important to note how over many generations, the uniquely balinese way of rice cultivation still holds true under a "subak system" So i guess, no matter what challenges awaits you, army, uni or whatever, stay true to your beliefs that has brought you this far and you will succeed, but at the same time accept things that has happened or is happening, learn and move on. C'est la vie
People of bali Took me nearly an hour on this edit but i still cant get it right. Probably need a shit tons of practice. I guess photography to me is like wood carving to these man. It takes practice, patience, and even more practice. And to some, it might seem as though we're trying to sell something - the wood carver his art and me my photographs or something else - but i believe we all start our hobbies based on passion and love, and in turn our passion drives us further to achieve our goals. Enough of blabbering i confuse myself most of the time. I'll just let the photo do the talking.
